Plan Your Visit
Keyport GardenWalk, June 1st and 2nd 2019 is a free, self-guided walking/biking tour of public and private gardens in Keyport, NJ (northern Monmouth County). There are no tickets to buy - simply come to Keyport and pick up your complimentary Keyport GardenWalk Garden Guide at our KGW HQ located at the Keyport Waterfront Pavilion on American Legion Drive (picture below right).
How to get here
Keyport is conveniently located at Exit 117 and Exit 118 on the Garden State Parkway.
Once you have your Garden Guide, you are ready to start touring the gardens. You decide which gardens you will visit and how long you will linger at each garden. We expect to have at least 30 gardens - so many visitors come back for the second day to see all the gardens. If your time is limited our Keyport GardenWalk volunteers will gladly recommend gardens to visit given your time constraints.
The gardens are all within a square mile in our lovely town- walkable for many. You may also drive to a "cluster" of gardens and visit several at a time, or ride your bike. Keyport also offers Lime Bikes, wich you can rent by the half hour and drop anywhere in town.
Our KGW HQ will have information regarding where to grab lunch or an early dinner as well as information about our retail shops.
Keyport has plenty of free municipal and street parking.
Keyport is exit 117 on the GSP and is also easily accessible from Rte 34, 35 and 36. We are approximately 15 minutes from the NY Seastreak ferry in Atlantic Highlands and 10 minutes from NJ Transit train stations. If you need an address for your GPS please use 70 West Front Street (Keyport Borough Hall). Our KGW HQ is a one minute walk from there.
